The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) has proudly announced the appointment of its Executive Committee for 2023 following ACA’s Annual General Meeting in late December.
ACA's Executive Committee provides a collective voice for all members, making decisions on behalf of all five ACA State Bodies and engaging with key political and sector stakeholders at the national level.
ACA’s election has resulted in the following successful candidates:
- Paul Mondo, President
- Nesha Hutchinson, Vice President
- Ann Marie Chemello, Secretary
- Kerry Mahony, Treasurer
- Jae Fraser, Ordinary Member
- Nicole Upfold, Ordinary Member
Every one of our Board Members is the owner/operator of one or more early learning services and works for ACA's Executive Committee on a voluntary basis.
You can read more about each Board Member here.
We would like to pass on our enormous thanks to ACA NSW President Lyn Connolly, who recently stepped back from her most recent role as ACA Ordinary Member, having contributed greatly to the ACA Executive Committee as a returning Member several times over the last fifteen years. Lyn will continue her engagement with the Board in a less formal capacity.
We would also like to welcome Nicole Upfold as our new Board Member representing New South Wales. Nicole is Vice President of ACA NSW and works closely with Lyn at the state level. She brings over 25 years of experience in the sector to her role on the Board, and we look forward to working more closely with her,
We are extremely grateful to our Board Members for bringing a wealth of operational knowledge and experience to ACA's important role of advocating for the sector, with a view to ensuring a future where every child in Australia has the best start in life.
