As many early learning service providers would be aware, the National Quality Framework is currently under review.
The aim of this review is to ensure that the regulatory system supported by all Australian governments remains current and continues to drive quality improvement in supporting children’s learning and development.
Whilst the ACA will put forward a written submission on behalf of members nation-wide, the Executive Committee is also encouraging as many early learning service providers as possible to complete the survey on behalf of their own service.
ACA is mindful of the fact that each early learning service has its own unique set of circumstances, and may have a perspective that has not been considered nationally.
Additionally the context and application of the regulations can vary from state to state.
Feedback from all parts of the sector helps inform government decision making on the regulation of quality education and care in Australia.
How early learning service providers/stakeholders can share their feedback:
1. First you need to read the Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (CRIS), to give you an understanding of the regulations being considered for change.
2. Next you should complete the survey for the early learning sector here.
You may also like to encourage your team of staff to complete the survey as the decisions may affect their day to day activities.
Please note that you are not required to answer every question in the survey - you can choose to only respond to those categories that are directly relevant to your service.
The survey will close on 30 April 2021.
Don’t miss this important opportunity to have your say on the future regulation of quality education and care services in Australia.
